Doodles
I have recently been in some rather lengthy training for work, and while I have always been a doodler in meetings, I had one of my small sketchbooks with me and throught I would do my doodles in the sketchbook.
I was quite impressed with myself on how detailed I managed to work, often without looking at the page. We’ve pretty much debunked the Left Brain/Right Brain dominance, but it is the case that different parts of the brain work on different functions, and my slight neurodiversity is such that I very much struggle to keep on track without doing something.
I think I got more from the training and some sketches as well from this experiment. I watercoloured in the leaves while waiting for another picture to dry over the weekend. I think the landscaopes will become watercolours and I am keen to have a play with the skull and the flowers in coloured pencil.
