Spring has sprung (just)…

I have again been doing less photography recently, and a lot of it has been using my phone. I never thought that I would say this, but it is very convenient and (other than not having an aperture priority setting) covers as much as my DSLR in many ways, and in some ways the quality can be better.

After feeling very run down since Christmas and nesting rather, inside and away from the world, we hauled ourselves out for a walk up through Meanwood Park. I wanted to have a look round some of the further parts of the beck, where there’s some old ironworks in the soil with a viw to finding pigments, but it was still far too wet and muddy.

As I’ve not really done too many photography posts at all recently I thought I would add these. A few are just snaps, but I am still looking at close up colours and textures in my work, such as the liverwort on the old drinking trough an the lichen on the walls.
