Art and Design

It is the nature of 21st Century Creative life that one must, to some extent, be a polymath. Without boundless financial resources, musicians must often work for themselves in promotion, design and multimedia.

I have always enjoyed art, though my enjoyment and creativity sometimes oustrips my talent, and this has of course links closely with my photographic work. I dabble, when time permits, into acrylics and watercolours, block printing and collage. I also, on occasion, work digitally and have produced some designs for my own and other purposes.

I’m moving a little into video work, a necessity for a musician, and back the other way to scoring.

I don’t like art to be constrained to physical, tangible media, nor to the ephemeral.
