Kirkstall Walk

Tried to take a nice walk up to Kirkstall today, inspired by some very good shots I got previously round the canal, but the weather was very much against me. It actually decided to pelt it down with sleet breifly, which was not particularly lovely.

I guess though it shows the grimier side of the canal quite well. I think I may try and turn canals into a bit of a project one day.

Anything I shot of the Abbey was uninspriring to say the least, but at least when we got to the Abbey Park, these swans made up for the dreariness of before.
