Six Vignettes

vignette

/viːˈnjɛt,vɪˈnjɛt/

noun

  1. a brief evocative description, account, or episode.

For some reason I love the idea of a vignette in photography. A short visual statement which holds so much, but yet uncovered.

Going back over the years shooting, there’s always a few odd images that have not made it into bigger sets or posts. I’m just going to post six of them here, as the year draws to a close.

Six vignettes which, for me, show a more peaceful and melancholy aspect to Hyde Park which is often had to see.

I’ll leave these as my last for the year and sign off for the year. I’ve enjoyed making this creative blog what it has become and it’s been an interesting and inspiring year. Much love for 2011.
