Woods, Kids, Pigs Arses…

This is one of those posts with no real reason, other than as a reminder to see fun and enjoyment and photgraphic opportunites in every circumstance. We decided the other day to take a walk down through woodhouse ridge, to Meanwood Valley Urban Farm on a (vaguely) sunny day. This is some of what we saw.

We walked down the goyt track at the bottom of the ridge, and then onto the field a small tributory, perhaps part of Stain Beck before it has been diverted many times meets Meawood beck at the bottom of Sugarwell Hill.

Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is a 26 acre working farm with a wide variety of animals and a centre for community and environmental work, tcked away on the bottom of Sugarwell Hill, behind the waste site.

I got some quite nice nature and flower shots as well.

An a few of some random reprobates. The small ones are ours, no idea who the dozing gentleman is, but I thought it made quite a good shot.

And back over the ridge. While some people climbed trees I did a bit of arty shutter dragging.

As I said, this is just a reminder to take opportunities, especially as a photograper to get good shots from the everyday.
