Shutter Dragging in the Woods
I went for a little walk up in the woodland of Meanwood park the other day, and decided to limit myself to my Canon 1000D and a simple 50mm prime lens. I did a few portraits of my family, but also had a little play with the classic abstract technique of shutter dragging – moving the camera vertically with a relatively long shutter time to create these streaky textures.
