So here is a version of this image in which I have made some choices. Firstly I have told the scanner to remove the blue, by altering the balance of the colours in the image. I’ve told it to do this using an automatic algorithm which looks at the image, compares it to its knowledge of film and decides how to do this. This is because it is much easier than doing it manually.
