Fuckable Readhead
This is a red belgian style ale, with a bit of added rye for a spicy twist. Assuming a conservative 50% home brew-house efficiency this should hit an OG of about 1058, a final gavity of about 1012 and an ABV of 6%. Anything more efficient would be a bonus or you can draw off and dilute to hit this figure. This recipe is for a small batch 17.5l ferment for my 19l pot.
This uses a trio of European and Noble hops.
Malt Bill
5kg Maris Otter
0.5kg Crystal 50l
0.5kg Cara Red
0.5kg American Rye
Mash in 13.5 Litres at 67°C for a 60 minute infusion mash.
Sparge to raise temperature to mash out at 77°C and aim to collect 18.5l

Pitch One 10g packet Mangrove Jack M41 Belgian Ale Yeast and ferment out – optimum fermentation temp is 26°C
