Portable Studio
If there’s one good thing to come out of all this, it’s been quite a surge in and reduced software. Native instruments, IK Multimeda to name a couple of have given away some good stuff and Ableton have chopped a massive 40% off the price. So with this and an upgrade price from Lite, I’ve just managed to bag Suite 10 for £330. Pretty good if you ask me.
I figured early on that it would be worth spending a little bit for the sake of my mental health on putting together a little portable studio while I am not at home.
Here it is.
The initial keyboard was a gear for music own brand – but it really didn’t work all that well – the parameter transmission was glitchy AF, so I went for the Akai that links in with Ableton in the end and a small focusrite and some monitors.
