Plant Portraits
I have been reading somewhere (of course, in a few days I have lost the source) a little about Bonsai Portraiture – obviously something very much of a simple Japanese aesthetic. I don’t have any bonsai trees, but I thought I would grab a few house-plants and have a go.
I took these against a black foam-board backdrop, in ambient light from the window up and to the side, with quite long exposures to keep a smaller aperture and use the natural light.
