Old Skool Acid Fun

So it’s not often you get a new track ready in the space of a few hours.

Actually that’s not fully true, but for the purposes of now, and today, and slinging together an album at some point it is.

I made this getting on for about 18 years ago now, in a very old version of Acid, with a number of acid lines I put together in Rebirth. As a part of sorting my archives and generally organising my life I am printing stems from pretty much all of my old work that I can chop up in Ableton for live sets. I realised I actually quite liked this tune and had a place for it in work I am compiling for an album of more Acid techno based material. With a cleaner mix, a quick sub-bass line and a master it has taken on a new lease of life.

Looking at the way it’s going, next album is going to be called Acid Power and out in a few months time…
