I bought a DSLR

I’ve been toying with this idea for a while (and have already had a couple of people saying, “about bloody time”). I’ve got the bug here, I’m really enjoying learning properly about photography.

So I have bought myself a Canon EOS 1000D with an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens, and a Tamron 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 telephoto macro lens. Even though I understand all this in principle I am a bit scared by all these numbers, but I will get there I am sure.

All I will say now is I took it out to St George’s Field and had a play. I mut have had about 10 duff shots for each of these. but what I have got is beautiful. I’m going to have fun here.
