At the start of this year I decided to embark on a 365 project – this is where you aim to take one image every day for an entire year.  It is often seen as a kind of rite of passage for a photographer.

In the end I had to abandon this, not because of taking the images, but keeping up with regular editing and uploading proved hard with a number of other things going on at the time.

But this was still of great benefit to me – what a project like this does is encourage you to look in places you might not otherwise look for images.  For me, I sought to see new landscapes in the places I walked day to day for many of the shots.
